FIERCE is excited to introduce Sara Asbeck as FIERCE's new Manager of Soccer Operations! In her new role, Sara will help interested families learn more about the FIERCE way, onboard players into the program, assist in club communications, and manage other internal logistics.
Sara grew up in the DFW soccer club scene, playing the majority of her formative years with Solar Soccer Club and entering ECNL as the league was established. Sara continued her soccer career into college at John Brown University, serving as a captain for three years and receiving an All-American Honorable Mention Award to cap off her collegiate career. Most recently, she played semi-pro with Austin Rise FC during their inaugural season in the WPSL. Sara's coaching career began in high school, working at developmental summer camps. In college, this transitioned into coaching summer ID camps to prepare and evaluate high school players for the potential to play at the collegiate level. She has served as a high school teacher and soccer coach at Royse City HS and St. Dominic Savio HS. Through all of these experiences, Sara has deepened her passion for developing the next generation of soccer players.
Regarding her new role, Sara says, "All of my prior experiences have aligned perfectly to bring me to this role. My deepest motivation is to help players find a love for the game while supporting and challenging them. After meeting the staff and numerous players, I realized FIERCE has the club culture I always wished for myself and others in the competitive soccer club market. In this new role, I get to help families and their players enter FIERCE's incredible and unique environment, and spur them on in their relationship with the game. I am ecstatic to work with all the people that make up this incredible FIERCE family!"
