FIERCE is elated to welcome Southwestern University Head Coach Linda Hamilton to the club's staff! In her new role, Coach Linda will serve as a consultant to the club's staff and players.
Coach Linda Hamilton has already created a lasting legacy on and off the field. She began her collegiate soccer career at North Carolina State University, completing three seasons before transferring to the University of North Carolina for her senior year. Her award-laden college career included a perfect four-for-four record in earning All-American and All-Atlantic Coast Conference selections, and 3 runner ups for the national player of the year.
In the same year Coach Linda began her illustrious college career, she also debuted on the USWNT. Her career with the team spanned from 1987 to 1995, with appearances in 82 international matches, the 1991 Women's World Cup, and the 1995 Women's World Cup. Her efforts to help the team earn a Gold in '91 and Bronze in '95 earned her induction to the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 2022.
Coach Linda earned her USSF "A" License and has spent time coaching at the club and college level. Her professional experience includes working with Old Dominion University, Hofstra University, the University of North Florida, and Illinois College. Currently, she is serving her tenth season as Head Coach at Southwestern University.

Coach Linda's addition as a consultant to the club provides endless opportunities for development. Her elite playing and coaching experience afford her the perspective to equally challenge players and staff. Her wealth of wisdom will be an incredible asset for FIERCE, and the club cannot wait to see the positive impact she has!
