In an exciting development for FIERCE, a record three teams have qualified for the National League (NL) Quarterfinals: 06G NL, 08G NL, and 09G NL. The NL Quarterfinals are the first stop on the journey to the NL National Championships, and will take place December 13-16 in Mesa, AZ.
For 06G NL, the Quarterfinals will be an opportunity for the team to experience success on a new stage in what will be the last season for many graduating seniors. For 08G NL and 09G NL, this will be an opportunity to repeat their success at last year's Quarterfinals (formerly "NL Conference Playoffs"). Both teams went undefeated and earned advancement to the Semifinals (formerly "NL P.R.O."). During the Semis in Oceanside, 09G NL won four straight matches to earn their spot at the USYS National Championships. During their historic run, the team maintained their undefeated streak at Nationals, maintaining an unbeaten streak across three straight NL events.

It's exciting to see the development of these teams the past few years and celebrate how far they have come. As a club, it's inspiring that the number of teams qualifying for NL events continues to grow. I know that my 10G NL and 11-12G NL teams that are in their first year of NL look up to these teams and are encouraged by their success. We are all looking forward to December!
Although these teams are currently busy with Frontier Conference play, staff and players are seizing every moment to prepare for the Quarterfinals. FIERCE looks forward to cheering them on in Mesa, Arizona!
