The FIERCE mission is to use soccer as a platform to promote gender equality, providing under-served youth with a community and framework to achieve post-secondary success and continue the cycle for positive change as lifelong stewards.
Selfless, Empathic, Empowering, Kind
Doing whatever it takes to help players overcome obstacles.
Doing what's right always, even when no one is watching.
Making sure our club is better today than yesterday.
Our players are relentless AND compassionate, driven AND selfless, hard working AND detail-oriented, obsessed with winning AND gracious in defeat.
Our players seek the best competition, both internally and externally. They appreciate the personal benefits and take pride in driving peer growth.
Our coaches create a safe and inclusive environment, ensuring every player feels welcome and valued in a consistent experience across all matches and sessions.
Our coaches believe the game is the best teacher, building player confidence through guiding questions. Failing forward will inspire bravery and creativity.
Our coaches recognize positives instead of accentuating negatives - removing any fear and apprehension for players. It's not soccer if it's not fun.
Our parents understand that success is dependent on treating every member like their own children, with everyone contributing in whatever way they can.
Our parents understand that opponents (and often refs) are just children. They let coaches coach and say only "I love watching you play" after games and practices on the ride home.
Our parents appreciate the millions of little things that created our momentum and believe continued success is imminent if we continue challenging the status quo.
2011 | "Pink Pumas" - 5 girls on a 3v3 recreational team.
2013 | "Bruisers" - 32 players battle boys in Academy.
2018 | FIERCE United - 150 players; WDDOA Prime promotion.
2019 | Paid staff and women-only USSF licensing pathways.
We will prepare all current and future players for post-secondary success, both on and beyond the pitch and expect each to graduate.
The best testament to creating lifelong stewards of the sport will be when our directors and staff are former FIERCE players.
Make no mistake, we are developing some of the most high IQ and technically proficient players in the State of Texas.
